Simple summer snacks taste best.

Frozen bananas on a stick are an easy, refreshing treat. I love the sweet-and-salty contrast — creamy Greek yogurt and sweet banana meet crunchy, salty pistachios and a hint of coconut for texture and flavor.

Produce for Kids invited me to join their healthy eating initiative with Publix supporting local Feeding America food banks. I was happy to participate — I’m always excited to promote fruits and vegetables. Last year I contributed a Balsamic Beef & Fruit Kabob recipe to the campaign, and this year’s Banana Crunch Pops are another simple way to enjoy fresh produce.

Last year’s campaign raised more than $206,000, providing over 2.2 million meals to families in need through Feeding America.
