Top the melted chocolate with large vegan marshmallows, arranging them in an even layer and leaving a little space between each so they can expand while baking. Bake time varies with oven, pan, and marshmallow brand; start checking around 8 minutes and remove when marshmallows are puffy and golden to your liking. They will deflate slightly as they cool—that’s normal and doesn’t affect flavor.

Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 cups dark chocolate bars, chopped
  • 810 oz. vegan marshmallows (enough to cover the base of your pan)
  • vegan graham crackers, for serving
  • fresh berries, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and lightly grease the bottom and sides of a cast iron skillet with coconut oil.
  2. Scatter the chopped chocolate evenly across the bottom of the greased skillet.
  3. Arrange the marshmallows in an even layer on top of the chocolate, leaving space between marshmallows to allow them to expand.
  4. Bake for 8–12 minutes, or until marshmallows are puffy and golden brown and the chocolate is fully melted. Check after 8 minutes since bake time varies by oven and pan.
  5. Serve the vegan s’mores dip warm with vegan graham crackers and fresh berries.
